Selbst mir als Nicht-Elektrofan ist die neue CHVRCHES-Single „Get Out“ dann doch etwas zu poppig geraten, aber auf eine neue Platte freue ich mich dennoch. Wann die erscheinen wird, steht leider noch nicht fest. Dafür, was die Band von der Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent Greg Kurstin (u.a. bereits für Adele, Beck und Liam Gallagher tätig gewesen) hält:
„Mit Greg zu arbeiten war ganz anders als alles, was wir bisher gemacht haben. Aber es war auch unglaublich angenehm. Es fühlte sich an, als sei er schon seit Ewigkeiten Teil unserer Band. Er versucht nicht, Dich in eine bestimmte Richtung zu drängen. Er hört einfach nur zu und holt dann das Beste aus dir heraus – wie ein Jedi-Meister. Das Synthie-Riff am Anfang von Get Out war das Erste, was am allerersten Tag mit ihm im Studio entstand.“
